Prof. Surendra Shah
Prof. Surendra Shah is a Walter P. Murphy Professor Emeritus Civil Engineering at Northwestern University. He is an honorary member of ACI and RILEM.Prof. Shah has received many awards including the ACI Anderson Award, RILEM Gold Medal, ASTM Thompson Award and other prestigious accolades.
Prof. Mohan Malhotra
Prof. Mohan Malhotra is a Scientist Emeritus at CANMET, Ottawa, Canada. He is a former member of the ACI’s Board of Direction, and is active in the technical committees of ACI and ASTM. Prof. Malhotra is an honorary member of ACI and Concrete Society of the UK, and a fellow of ASTM and Engineering Institute of Canada.
Prof. P. A. M. Basheer
Prof. Basheer is an elected Fellow of the ACI, Irish Academy of Engineering & the royal Academy of Engineering, and a familiar face to the India Chapter of ACI and Indian Concrete Institute since 1998. He has authored more than 520 technical papers, book chapters, patents and reports, resulting in him receiving numerous awards, including a ‘Lifetime Achievement Award’ from the Civil Engineering Research Association of Ireland.
Prof. Nemkumar Banthia
Prof. Nemkumar Banthia is a modest person whose contributions to the world of concrete have been anything but modest. With over 500 papers, reports and patents to his credit. Prof. Banthia remains one of the most cited and quoted experts. He is an elected Fellow of the ACI, the Canadian Academy of Engineering and the most prestigious Royal Society of Canada.
Prof. Ravindra Gettu
Prof. Ravindra Gettu has worked for over a decade in Spain as researcher and Director of the Structural Technology Laboratory of the Universitat Politecnica de Catalunya. He returned home and is currently Professor, Department of Civil Engineering, IIT Madras. Prof. Gettu has over 1420 citations, 125 international publications and scores of students studying under his guidance. He is the first Asian to hold the position of President in one of the world’s most prestigious international bodies of concrete research – RILEM.
Prof. Venkatesh Kodur
Prof. Venkatesh Kodur is a prominent personality in the field of Structural and Fire Engineering, Prof. Kodur was part of the FEMA/ASCE Building Assessment Team that studied the collapse of WTC buildings as a result of September 11 incidents. Prof. Kodur, an University Distinguished Professor and Chair Person of the Deparment of Civil & Enviromental Engineering, heads the Center on Structural Fire Engineering & Diagnostics at Michigan State University, and is always at the forefront of spreding knowledge.He is the recipient of prestigious awards including Fellow of five institites/academics, NRCC (Government of Canada) Outstanding Achivment Award and NATO Award for Collaborative research.
